«Roshimreactiv» Participates in State Duma Meeting on Personnel

The «Roshimreactiv» Association, represented by General Director Irina Vendilo, participated in a meeting of the personnel working group under the Expert Council for the Development of the Chemical Industry of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade.

Colleagues discussed interim results of the first year of implementing the personnel block of the national project «New Materials and Chemistry» and outlined tasks to be addressed in 2026.

The meeting covered key areas of the federal personnel project:

  • Aligning educational processes at all levels of the educational system, from school to additional professional education programs.
  • The importance of accurate analysis of companies’ needs for qualified specialists.
  • Issues of forming a unified reporting documentation structure and improving reporting quality.
  • Creating and supporting regional initiatives for training required specialists.
  • Improving the qualifications of teaching staff, creating effective educational and methodological centers, and regularly updating curricula.
  • Establishing career labs and specialized structures for professional orientation of school and university students.

It was found that parents have expressed a desire to take an active part in promoting children’s interest in chemistry and attracting students to participate in chemical industry projects.

«Sibur», «Eurokhim», «PhosAgro», and major universities presented their personnel development models:

  • Competency «heat maps»;
  • Own engineering classes;
  • Corporate training programs;
  • Network educational model;
  • Career tracks and mentoring;
  • Projects for postgraduate students and young scientists.

Each developed model will be included in a unified handbook of the industry’s best practices and will serve as an example for regions and educational institutions.

A separate block was dedicated to planning the work of the Youth Council of the Russian Union of Chemists. Future plans include supporting young scientists, developing engineering competencies, supporting startups, regional career labs, foresight sessions, and pitch platforms for young specialists’ projects.

Furthermore, it is necessary to refine the roadmap, conduct new regional «Personnel for Chemistry» forums, improve the qualifications of chemistry teachers, and begin developing methodological centers and updating educational programs.

At the end of the meeting, the year’s results were summarized. Specifically:

  • The foundation of an end-to-end personnel system has been created;
  • Competence centers have launched;
  • Regions have begun to join systematic work;
  • Schools, IVE institutions, universities, and enterprises have gained a unified interaction space.
