Activity: Development of low-tonnage chemical products: reagents, high-purity substances, including organic solvents, reagents for chromatography, IR and UV spectroscopy, and their subsequent implementation at industry enterprises.
Specialization:

• Synthesis of reagents and ultra-pure substances; study of the influence of synthesis methods and conditions on the deep purification process.
• Research of physicochemical properties of pure and high-purity substances; specification and cataloging of their constants; study of their dependence on substance purity and storage conditions. Determination of temperature dependencies of physicochemical properties of high-purity substances; verification of calculation methods for determining physicochemical properties.
• Research of analytical characteristics of high-purity substances: spectral, chromatographic. Specification and cataloging of analytical characteristics of substances and their main impurities. Development of general approaches to the analysis of reagents and high-purity substances; identification of analysis methods for main impurity groups; development of optimal analysis algorithms for reagents, high-purity substances, raw materials for their production, and intermediates.
• Study of high-purity substance production processes. Research of phase equilibria in “main substance – impurity” systems. Study of hydrodynamic and mass transfer processes at all stages of deep substance purification; construction of rational production schemes for reagents and high-purity substances.
• Development of new equipment for producing reagents and high-purity substances; recommendations for modernization and improvement of existing equipment.
• Development of process and regulatory documentation for the production of chemical reagents and high-purity substances: laboratory procedures, laboratory, one-time, startup, temporary regulations, analytical methods, technical specifications.
