«Roshimreaktiv» Organizes the Session «Chemistry for Pharmaceuticals: Import Substitution and Development»
On October 27, within the framework of the VIII Moscow International Chemical Forum, the «Roshimreaktiv» Association will organize the session «Chemistry for Pharmaceuticals: Import Substitution and Development». You can participate in the event in person – the session will be held at the venue of the «CHEMISTRY-2020» exhibition at the «Expocentre» Central Exhibition Complex – or join the online broadcast.
The session’s agenda will be dedicated to such pressing topics for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries as:
- The impact of the pandemic on the pharma industry,
- Features of supplying the pharmaceutical industry with intermediates and chemical components,
- Barriers to import substitution of chemical components in the production of pharmaceuticals,
- Coordination of interaction between the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Speakers at the event will include:
- Dmitry Borisov, Commercial Director of NTFF «POLISAN». The company «POLISAN» is one of the top 10 largest Russian drug manufacturers and has been operating on the Russian market since 1992.
- Arkady Goldberg, Director of the «Federation of Laboratory Medicine» Association. The «Federation of Laboratory Medicine» Association is the largest professional association of laboratory medicine specialists, manufacturers, and distributors of laboratory diagnostic equipment and consumable medical materials.
- Stanislav Goldberg, General Director of «GEM» LLC. The company «GEM» is engaged in the production of consumables for laboratory medicine, founded in 1988.
- Ratmir Dashkin, General Director of MIC-MUCTR. The Mendeleev Engineering Center was established on the basis of Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology, engaged in analytical research and development of new chemical products and technologies, and helps transfer new chemical technologies to production.
- Alexander Semenov, President of «Active Component» JSC. «Active Component» is a pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) using the latest technologies and equipment.
- Georgy Khachiyan, General Director of «REATORG» LLC. The company «REATORG» specializes in comprehensive solutions in the design and equipping of chemical and pharmaceutical productions and laboratories. Equipment produced under the Reatorg Technologies™ brand is intended for the production of low-tonnage chemistry, including APIs.
Heads of chemical and pharmaceutical companies, representatives of chemical R&D centers, industry research institutes, engineering companies, as well as relevant ministries and authorities are invited to participate in the session.
The session is held under the auspices of the Moscow International Chemical Forum – a unified Russian discussion platform where representatives of the chemical complex, relevant ministries, and industry associations meet annually. The forum is organized by the Russian Union of Chemists and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
