«Quality Breeds Accuracy»: NPF «Simeks» — Winner of the «ROSTEST-Moscow» Competition

At the «Analitika Expo» exhibition in 2025, «Simeks» R&D Company LLC once again confirmed its leadership in the development of high-precision analytical instruments. The FT-801 Fourier-transform infrared spectrometer became the winner of the competition «For Ensuring High Accuracy of Measurements in Analytical Chemistry», organized by the «Roshimreaktiv» Association together with FBU «ROSTEST-Moscow».

The FT-801 is a modern measuring instrument designed for recording absorption spectra in the near and mid-infrared region (470–5700 cm⁻¹) of solid, liquid, and gaseous substances. It provides qualitative and quantitative analysis of mixtures containing several components and is used in forensic, customs, research, educational, industrial, and environmental laboratories.

Applications include analysis of:

• Narcotic substances;

• Varnishes and paints;

• Petroleum products;

• Explosives;

• Pharmacological preparations;

• Crystals and optical parts;

• Industrial and flue gases (with sensitivity up to tenths of ppm when equipped with gas cells).

Technical characteristics of the FT-801:

• Spectral range: 470–5700 cm⁻¹.

• Spectral resolution: 0.5; 1; 2; 4; 8 cm⁻¹.

• Noise level of 100% transmission line: ≤0.005% (under standard conditions at 4 cm⁻¹ resolution, for 1 minute, in the 2050–2150 cm⁻¹ range).

• Dimensions: 205×315×560 mm.

• Weight: Not more than 16 kg.
