At «Analitika Expo 2020», the Best Chemical Products Were Awarded the Quality Mark

On September 23, at the venue of the 18th International Exhibition «Analitika Expo 2020», the award ceremony for the winners of the competition «For Ensuring High Accuracy of Measurements in Analytical Chemistry» was held. The products of the companies «EKOS-1» and «TRAVERS» were awarded quality marks.

The competition has been held since 2009 and is designed to identify the best products in the field of analytical chemistry that are produced and sold in the Russian Federation. Its finalists are determined based on the results of an examination of functional and metrological characteristics conducted by an independent commission of specialists from FBI «Rostest-Moscow».

This year, «EKOS-1» managed to receive quality marks for two of its chemical products at once: technical boric acid ester (Tris-2-ethylhexyl ester of boric acid, technical) and methyl ester of acetic acid of special purity (high purity grade 9-6).

Boric ester is used in processes for producing antioxidants, flame retardants, corrosion inhibitors, stabilizers for rubbers and plastics, and adhesion promoters. Furthermore, boric ester is used as a cross-linking agent in various resins.

The high-purity methyl acetate is used in the electronic and radio engineering industries, as well as a chemical reagent for physicochemical analysis in laboratory research.

From «TRAVERS», the quality mark was awarded to the inhibitor of corrosion and scale formation processes AMINAT™ Kv, intended for use in pipelines and heat exchange equipment of open hot water supply and heating systems.

The competition is organized by the «Roshimreaktiv» Association, FBI «Rostest-Moscow», and Hyve Group PLC.
