Activity: A research institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, specializing in the search and design of biologically active compounds, pharmacological research, complex processing of plant raw materials into valuable products for agriculture, food and cosmetic industries, development of organic synthesis processes, analysis of organic objects of natural and anthropogenic origin, determination of the structure of organic compounds.
The Institute includes an Engineering Center, whose main areas of work are the development and scaling of technological processes of organic synthesis and processing of plant raw materials from laboratory to pilot-industrial stage, development of formulations and technical specifications for products, technological regulations, initial data for the design of pilot and technological units, production of pilot batches of products. The Engineering Center is equipped with a fleet of reactor vessels, including glass, stainless steel, titanium, and enameled apparatus, Soxhlet and percolation extractors, evaporation apparatus, laboratory and pilot rectification columns, filtering and decanter centrifuges, rotating autoclaves and autoclaves with stirring devices for conducting processes under pressure up to 1000 atm.
Specialization: chemical engineering, development and scaling of organic synthesis processes, low-tonnage production, production of pharmaceutical substances and pharmaceutical intermediates, quality control and development of analytical methods.

- Phenolic antioxidants (Stabilizer SO-3)
- Plant growth stimulant “Novosil”, SE 100 g/l (triterpene acids of Siberian fir)
- Crown ethers (12-crown-4, 15-crown-5, benzo-15-crown-5, 4-nitrobenzo-15-crown-5, 4-aminobenzo-15-crown-5, 18-crown-6, dibenzo-18-crown-6, dicyclohexano-16-crown-6, etc.)
