Association Structure
The highest governing body is the General Assembly of Members of the Association, which is held at least twice a year.
The Board of Directors is the standing collegial governing body. Its members are elected by the General Assembly of Members for a term of one year and may be re-elected an unlimited number of times.
The President of the Association is elected by the members of the Board of Directors for a term of five years and may also be re-elected an unlimited number of times. The President organizes the work of the Board, convenes Board meetings and presides over them, ensures proper record-keeping of meetings, and chairs the General Assembly. The President also represents the Association’s interests before government authorities, public organizations, the media, and other entities.
The General Director of the Association is responsible for the day-to-day management of its activities. The General Director is accountable to the General Assembly, acts on behalf of the Association, and represents its interests in government authorities, public organizations, the media, and more.
