Exhibition “Chemistry-2022”: business in new realities

The 25th anniversary International Exhibition of Chemical Industry and Science “Chemistry-2022” was held in Moscow from October 31 to November 3 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The exhibition presented the latest developments and technologies from 200 companies from 10 countries: Germany, India, Iran, China, the Republic of Belarus, the UAE, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, Uzbekistan.

On the first day of the exhibition, the collective stand of the Association “Roschemreactive” was visited by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Mikhail I. Ivanov, who noted that “despite the difficult situation faced by the chemical industry today, companies exhibit new products, have new ideas, new directions for development. It is very important now to use such a period so that the niches that are being released are already occupied by domestic products.”

The Deputy Minister inspected the exposition of the Association, talked to each of the participants, was interested in where the companies get raw materials, what is missing for further development. The partners of the Association told Mikhail Ivanov about their products, the possibilities of their application, and shared their plans for the future.

As part of the business program of the exhibition, CHOU DPO “Training Center “Assistance”, together with the Association organized a seminar “Practical aspects of the accredited person’s activities in changing conditions”.

The event was attended by speakers from CJSC “Crismas+”, LLC “Industrial environmental laboratories”, NC “Low-tonnage chemistry”. During the meeting, the participants discussed a number of topical issues affecting the conduct of accredited laboratories in accordance with the regulatory framework, import substitution and parallel import, problems of verification and operation of sub-sanctioned resources.

A landmark event of the exhibition was the opening of the X Moscow International Chemical Forum (MMCF), organized by Expocentre JSC, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Russian Union of Chemists. The Forum included more than 20 events. As part of the MMHF at the Chemistry site.Live Association organized a session “Chemistry for housing and communal services”. This initiative provided an opportunity to discuss issues of import substitution in chemical technologies to support the activities of the fuel and energy complex, to present new scientific and technical developments, to exchange experience and knowledge.

The participants of the exhibition were able to get acquainted with the latest innovations in the field of domestic chemical products, laboratory furniture and appliances by visiting the collective stand of the Association “Roschemreactive”, where specialists of CJSC “Crismas+”, JSC “ECOS-1”, the Scientific Center “Low-Tonnage Chemistry” and LLC “PromEcoLab”, MHC “Regionhimsnab” worked. It is pleasant to note that the products of the member companies of the Association “Roschemreactive” meet all the declared exposition themes of the exhibition “Chemistry-2022”: raw materials for the chemical and petrochemical industry, agrochemistry, low-tonnage and green chemistry, analytical and laboratory equipment, polymer materials, the latest technologies and scientific developments and much more.

The International Chemistry Exhibition is held every year and, as Mikhail Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, noted: the Chemistry exhibition is a traditional platform for meeting manufacturers and consumers of chemical products, developers and suppliers of advanced technologies and equipment. And the business program of the exhibition covers a wide range of topical topics and provides an opportunity for industry representatives to strengthen business ties, establish work with partners and customers, as well as discuss promising vectors for the development of Russian chemistry.”
